Al-Hakim stresses the need for programs to address the reality of the displaced people

Baghdad The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed the need for programs to address the reality of the displaced people.

Al-Hakim said in a statement, “During our meeting with the Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faeq Yaqoub, we were briefed on the ministry’s plans to support the displaced segment, and we indicated that the International Day is an opportunity to call on the international community to help end the displacement crisis and return the displaced to their homes.”

He stressed the need for programs at the social, economic and political levels to address the reality of the displaced people, calling for adequate support for the displacement camps, especially in the winter season.
