Iran condemns Israeli aggressions on Syria, demand the int’l community to refrain these aggressions

Tehran, Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned on Monday the Israeli aggressions on Damascus Int’l Airport and its surroundings.

In his weekly press briefing on Monday, Spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Nasser Kanaani, said that “the Islamic Republic of Iran condemns in the strongest terms the continued crimes and aggressions against Syrian sovereignty by the Israeli entity.

Nasser Kanaani called on the international community and international organizations to exert pressure on the Israeli entity to stop its aggressions on Syria and to respect its sovereignty.

Copies of Holy Quran, Gifted by Custodian of Two Holy Mosques, Delivered to Senegal

Dakar, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia delivered here today 120,000 copies of the Holy Quran as a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the people of Senegal.

Published by Madinah-based King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran, the consignment includes various sizes and translations of Islam’s holy book. The gift was delivered by Undersecretary of the Islamic Affairs Ministry Dr. Awwad bin Sabti Al-Enazi in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Senegal Saad bin Abdullah Al-Nofaiee and representatives of the Islamic societies in Senegal.

In a speech to highlight the occasion, Al-Enazi said that this gift is an extension of the Kingdom’s giving and message, based on the Holy Quran and the Sunnah. It also extends the bonds of amicability, Islamic brotherhood and heartfelt peace to the entire world, he said.

He affirmed the keenness of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to distribute the copies of the Holy Qur’an, adding that King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an is witnessing an exponential leap in the number of editions of the holy book reaching Muslims all over the world.

For his part, Ambassador Al-Nofaiee emphasized that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ gift to the Republic of Senegal embodies the great efforts made by the wise leadership to serve Islam, take care of the Holy Quran, and spread it to Muslims around the world, indicating that this gift reflects the Kingdom’s relentless endeavor in this regard.

In turn, Dr. Mohammed Habibullah Si, Director General of Dar Al-Iman Institutes in Senegal, expressed profound pleasure to participate in this ceremony, hailing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s efforts in serving the Holy Quran and the Sunnah.

He also expressed his appreciation of and gratitude to the Saudi leadership for the care and attention it pays to everything that serves Muslims across the world, including providing copies of the Holy Quran to Islamic institutions, associations and mosques in Senegal.

KSrelief concludes “Noor Saudi Arabia” voluntary program to combat blindness in Mukalla by performing 400 surgeries

Hadramout, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded on Saturday the “Noor Saudi Arabia” voluntary program to combat blindness in Hadramout Governorate, Yemen, which was implemented in cooperation with Al Basar International Foundation during the period from 10 to 25 December 2022.

During the campaign, the KSrelief’s voluntary medical team examined 5,450 cases, distributed 991 medical glasses, and successfully performed 400 surgeries.

This campaign comes as an extension of the projects related to combating blindness that the Kingdom is implementing, represented by the KSrelief for low-income families, in several other countries.

Baghdad The Head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Faleh Al-Fayyad, affirmed that our revenge is to preserve the line of the martyrs.

He said in a speech from the site of the martyrdom of the leaders of Al-Nasr near Baghdad International Airport: The leaders of Al-Nasr are the makers of man.

Al-Fayyad added: The martyr engineer combines good spirit, extreme strength, planning and leadership.

Al-Fayyad explained: The millions who attended the funeral of the victory leaders confirm his lofty status among people’s hearts.

He continued: The enemies were disappointed when they thought that by killing and disappearance, the will of nations would be broken.

He said: The Mobilization Committee is an institution that has a specificity that contributed to protecting the state and the constitutional system.

The Sadiqoon Bloc calls on the government to take serious and quick steps to end the presence of US military forces or others

Baghdad The Sadiqoon Parliamentary Bloc called on the government to take serious and quick steps to end the presence of US military forces or other countries.

In a statement on the eve of the third anniversary of the martyrdom of the leaders of victory near Baghdad International Airport, it stated: We renew the covenant to the martyrs that we are steadfast on their line, and their traces are followed, and we seek to achieve their higher goals.

It added: On this painful occasion, we renew our demand for the Iraqi government to take serious and quick steps to end the presence of any US or other military bases or forces in Iraq and to achieve full sovereignty.

The bloc called on the Iraqi judiciary to expedite the completion of the file of investigations into the treacherous American crime and to prosecute the murderers and their conspirators.

It also called on: all national movements and forces to cooperate, join hands, and stand firm on the path of truth and follow the path of the martyrs, leaders who sacrificed their precious lives and pure blood in defense of the land and sanctities.

The bloc confirmed: This treacherous crime committed by America and its collaborators against the leaders of victory will be the distinguishing mark for ending American hegemony and its cancer, the usurping Zionist entity…

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman meets with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alba

Manama, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club (REHC) High Committee, today met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa.

His Highness highlighted Alba’s role in supporting the Kingdom of Bahrain’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman further highlighted REHC and Alba’s partnership, which enhances the club’s position as a leading horse racing club and reflects the development of its infrastructure.

Ambassador attends Brazilian president’s inauguration

Brasilia, The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Federative Republic of Brazil Bader Abbas Al-Helaibi conveyed the greetings and congratulations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on his inauguration.

The ambassador also conveyed to President Lula da Silva HM the King’s good wishes of success to achieve more development and progress for friendly Brazilian people, and further bolster outstanding bilateral relations.

Ambassador Al-Helaibi attended the official reception hosted by President Lula da Silva in honour of heads of states, special envoys and foreign ministers who attended his inauguration on January 1 in the National Congress of Brazil in the capital Brasilia.

Bahrain national team to head to Iraq to participate in Khaleeji 25

Manama, Bahrain national football team will head tomorrow, Tuesday, to Basra, Iraq, to take part in the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup (Khaleeji 25), which will be held on January 6-19.

Led by Bahrain Football Association (BFA) board member, Competitions Committee Chairman Muhannad Al Ansari, the delegation includes national coach Helio Sousa and 23 players.

The delegation also includes BFA Secretary General, Arabian Gulf Cup Competitions Committee member Rashid Al Zogby, BFA Legal Affaairs Chief Abed Al Ansari, BFA Media Centre Chairman, member of Khaleeji 25 Media Committee Ahmed Mahdi, national teams director Mohammed Salmeen and other official.

Hadhramaut, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded on Saturday the 5th Voluntary Training Program in Hadramout Governorate, Yemen, in cooperation with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA).

This comes as part of the humanitarian role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, in supporting the Yemeni people in various fields.

A person selling Gulf (25) entry cards in the black market arrested

Baghdad The National Security Service arrested today, Monday, a person selling Gulf (25) entry cards in the black market.

A statement by the Service stated, “Based on intelligence information and appeals made by citizens to the National Security Service stating that there are cases of exploitation of entry cards to the Gulf Championship (25), the a Service’s detachments in Basra governorate, after obtaining judicial approvals, were able to arrest a person when he sold these cards for sums of money.” Money amounting to eight times the set price, and he was seized with more than (24) cards he was trying to sell.

The statement added, “The accused was referred with the seized items to the competent judicial authorities to take the necessary measures against him in accordance with the law.”

Syria calls on UN Security Council to condemn Israeli crimes

Damascus, Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said Monday that the Israeli aggression on Damascus international Airport is nothing but a new part of a series of the occupation entity’s crimes.

“At the time when the world celebrates Christmas and the New year, the Israeli occupation authorities insisted on adding a new aggression to its record which is full of acts of aggression and violations of the international law,” The Ministry said in two messages addressed to the UN Secretary General and President of Security council.

The Ministry added that the Israeli occupation carried out at 2 a.m. on Monday January 2nd an aggression from the direction of Lake Tiberias targeting Damascus Int’l Airport and its vicinity.

“The aggression left two military personnel martyred and two others wounded, causing material damages and putting the airport out of service” the Ministry added.

“Syria condemns the Israeli terrorist exposure to the Syrian civil utilities and infrastructure which violates the international law and the International Humanitarian law,” the Ministry said.

It added that Syria calls on UNSC to condemn the Israeli crimes and aggression and immediately move to punish their perpetrators.
