Jerusalem – Together – Today, Tuesday, dozens of settlers carried out raids into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, on the first day of the ‘Hebrew Passover.’
The Islamic Endowments Department said that 292 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa, ‘219 during the morning raids, 73 during the afternoon raids.’
In successive groups, settlers stormed Al-Aqsa through the Mughrabi Gate, the keys of which have been controlled by the occupation authorities since the occupation of Jerusalem in 1967.
The settlers performed their prayers during the storming of Al-Aqsa.
While the forces were stationed at all the gates of Al-Aqsa, they arrested those arriving there and checked their identities before allowing them to enter.
On Bab al-Silsilah Road – the road leading to Al-Aqsa through Bab al-Silsilah – the forces removed those present from the place and prevented them from being present and sitting in the area, noting that groups of settlers exit through Bab al-Silsilah and perform prayers and dances at this door.
