65,000 parents attended the first induction day, Minister of Education

Thousands of parents today head to schools to attend the first induction day.

Education Minister Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma said that around 65000 took part in the induction day, making up nearly 50% of the overall number.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, directed the Ministry of Education to hold the induction days at Government-run schools.

In a statement today, Dr. Juma said that certain Government schools had reported up to 90% of parents’ attendance on the first induction day.

The minister said that schools will hold the second induction today tomorrow, Tuesday, from 8 am until 4 pm, praising the administrative and educational staff for the good organization which marked the first day.
