Egyptian Senator Khaled Qandil revealed that Sheikh Al-Azhar Ahmed Al-Tayeb will visit His Eminence, the Supreme Reference, Sayyid Ali Al-Sistani, this year, next July.
This came during the hosting of the Bahr al-Uloom Forum for Dialogue in Najaf by Khaled Qandil in a dialogue symposium.
Qandil pointed out, “This visit comes because the seminaries of Najaf and Al-Azhar represent religious and social importance and moderation in the Islamic world.”
