Baghdad The Baghdad Anti-Crime Directorate detachments arrested an accused for raping a five-year-old girl and assaulting another girl, east of Baghdad.
A statement by the Directorate stated: that the arrest took place after the detachments of the New Baghdad Office for Combating Crime became available about a girl being raped by an unidentified person who was riding a Tik-Tok motorcycle, where a work team was formed to follow up the incident, which resulted in finding and arresting the accused and the bike that was in his possession was seized inside his house in Al-Obaidi area in Baghdad.
The statement added that when conducting an investigation with the accused, he explicitly confessed that he had raped the girl, and after in-depth interrogation with him, he confessed to another rape, as he took a little girl from Al-Obeidi area to Al-Nasr neighborhood, and after assaulting her, he left her in an unknown area within the area.
