A tribal conference south of Hilla to demand a popular movement to demand the activation of the Iraqi-Chinese agreements and the development of the economy

Hilla A tribal conference was held today, Sunday, in Al-Qasim district, south of Hilla, to demand a popular movement on activating the Iraqi-Chinese agreements and developing the national economy, which is now suffering from a difficult situation.

NINA’s correspondent said, “The conference was attended by a number of tribal sheikhs, who agreed to form a crisis cell to address the suffering of southern Hilla, which suffers from a significant decline in agriculture.”

The conference confirmed that two-thirds of agricultural lands were abandoned by the farmers or turned into residential areas due to state neglect and drought, in addition to high unemployment among young people as a result of the lack of economic institutions working to provide them with work.

NINA’s correspondent added that the participants in the conference made many recommendations, including the use of popular and public pressure to end the suffering of the areas south of Hilla.
