Al-Sadr criticizes the statements of the Swedish Prime Minister and his legalization of the infringement of the Holy Quran

The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, denounced the statements of the Swedish Prime Minister and his legalization of infringement of the Holy Quran, considering it among the basics of freedom of expression and democracy.

This came in a central sermon for al-Sadr distributed to Friday preachers in Iraq.

In his speech addressed to the Swedish Prime Minister, Al-Sadr called for respecting the privacy of Muslims and the Book of God, the Holy Qur’an in the West, and not encroaching and preventing transgression and burning it. Muslims also work to respect the privacy of Christians and the heavenly books, the Bible and the Torah, by not infringing, instead of directing letters of sympathy to them.

Al-Sadr pointed out that the verses of the Qur’an contain a lot of sympathy for Christians. The Holy Qur’an did not assign terrorism to peace-lovers of all religions. Rather, the terrorist is the one who destabilizes religious stability in the world by burning the heavenly books or defying divine laws such as homosexuality and others.

He concluded his speech to the Swedish Prime Minister by saying that this act of yours will bring upon you the calamity of heaven, and its signs are clear
