Baghdad, The Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, Ahmed Al-Safadi, affirmed: “Amman supports the efforts of the Iraqi government and seeks to make them succeed.”
Al-Safadi said in a joint press conference with Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi that his visit to Baghdad came after the meeting that brought together King Abdullah II and Prime Minister Muhammad al-Sudani during the Baghdad Conference for Partnership and Cooperation that was held recently in Jordan.
He added that a joint committee was formed to follow up what was discussed during his visit to Baghdad, indicating: “Agreement to form joint committees between the Iraqi and Jordanian parliaments.”
