Al-Sudani Calls On Japanese Companies to Participate Extensively in Investment Through Renewable Energy Projects And Gas Investment/ More

Baghdad Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani called on Japanese companies to participate widely in investing through renewable energy projects and gas investment.

A statement by his media office said: “Al-Sudani received, today, Wednesday, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Japanese Parliament Takagi Kei and his accompanying delegation, and the two sides discussed relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them.”

According to the statement, the two sides stressed the importance of strengthening joint cooperation in various economic and cultural fields, as well as in the fields of energy and investment.

Al-Sudani called on Japanese companies to participate extensively in investing through renewable energy projects and gas investment, as well as reactivating the technical agreements and the joint economic committee between the two countries.

For his part, the Japanese official congratulated the Prime Minister on the occasion of assuming his duties as prime minister, achieving political and economic reforms in a way that achieves the country’s development and prosperity, pointing to Japan’s aspiration to strengthen relations between the two friendly countries .

Takagi-ki stressed that Japan has gone through conditions similar to what Iraq went through, calling for benefiting from Japan’s experience in reconstruction and erasing the effects of wars.
