Al-Sudani to Mikati: The next government will strengthen Iraq’s relations with its brothers in the Arab countries

Baghdad Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani received a phone call from Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati, while the first confirmed that his government will strengthen Iraq’s relations with its brothers in the Arab countries.

Mikati, according to a statement by the Prime Minister-designate’s office, extended his congratulations to Al-Sudani on the occasion of his assignment to head the next government, expressing his hope that it will be a government that meets the aspirations of the Iraqi people for development and prosperity.

During the call, they discussed relations between the two brotherly countries and the consolidation of means of joint cooperation in many fields.

Al-Sudani stressed that the next government will strengthen Iraq’s relations with its brethren in the Arab countries, and will develop mechanisms of mutual cooperation in more programs and agreements.
