Ambassador Haddad: Wide participation in presidential election reflects Syrian people’s adherence to their unity

Moscow, Syrian Ambassador in Moscow, Dr. Riad Haddad affirmed that wide popular participation in the presidential election reflects adherence of Syrian people to their national unity, policy of their country, and their president, as well as their determination to decide their own future without any external pressure or blackmail.

Delivering a speech via video during a meeting with graduates from Arab countries who have completed their studies in Soviet and Russian universities and institutes on sidelines of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Haddad stressed that during the election, the Syrian people are the ones who dictate the final word and give the legitimacy to any constitutional entitlement.

He noted that these elections which were held at the highest level and were kept up with parliamentary delegations from several countries affirmed Syria’s commitment to the electoral standards.

Haddad indicated that the reckless behavior of many Western countries that prevented the Syrians from fulfilling their national duty under illegal pretexts confirm the failure of these countries to achieve their aggressive goals in Syria.

“ Syria will expel all foreign forces from its territories present without an invitation of the Syrian state because the country has the right to defend of its sovereignty and expel the occupiers and invaders in parallel with its commitment to a political process under the ownership and leadership of Syria without any external interference ,in addition to the reconstruction of the country’s infrastructure and the return of refugees to their country,” he said .

KSA Tops the World in Environmental Performance Indicators, Surpassing 180 Countries

Riyadh, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has continued its global outstanding, outperforming 180 countries in two indicators of environmental performance, ranking first in the “Tree Cover Loss” and “Wetland” indicators, in addition to surpassing 172 countries in preserving and protecting natural environments and preventing the extinction of rare animal species, ranking eighth in the world in the “Species Habitat Index”, as revealed by the National Center for Performance Measurement “Adaa”, which monitors the international indicators.

This achievement comes as the international community celebrates today, June 5, the World Environment Day, in which the Kingdom stands out with many environmental achievements.

According to Adaa center, the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture is making remarkable efforts to protect the environment, which had an important impact on life, wealth, and the economy, and contributed to preserving the environment’s natural resources and their sustainable development.

The Kingdom’s achievements in the environment-related sectors are important in the international indicators, according to Ada, citing Saudi Arabia’s ranking first place in the “Tree Cover Loss” indicator which confirms its preservation of forest areas, knowing that this indicator measures the average annual loss in forest area over the past five years; the chronological age of the launch of Vision 2030.

The Kingdom also garnered first place in the “Wetland” indicator, a true reflection of the Kingdom’s keenest to maintain and preserve the grasslands, as it measures the average annual loss in grasslands area over the past five years.

The Kingdom outperformed 133 countries by ranking 34th in the world and first in the Middle East and North Africa in the “Forest soils and site indicator” which assesses the quality of land, forests, and soil resources and their impact on the quality of life, in addition to the “No Floods” and “Sustainable Nitrogen Management” as sub-indicators of the “Forest soils and site”, in which the Kingdom ranked 17th and 19th globally, respectively, whereas the first measures the number of recorded floods based on data issued by the World Resources Institute while the second measures sustainable nitrogen management in crop production through two measures: nitrogen use efficiency, and land-use efficiency for crop productivity.

With regards to the indicator pertaining to “Satisfaction with Efforts to Preserve the Environment”, Adaa Center said the Kingdom ranked 13th globally out of 167 countries according to questionnaires prepared by Gallup polls which measure efforts to preserve environmental sustainability.

The Kingdom advancing to leading positions in these indicators reflects the Saudi leadership’s ongoing support and keenest to raise the level of quality of life and preserve the environment and its natural resources that achieve sustainable environmental security and to achieve the objectives of Vision 2030 and its global initiatives that were praised worldwide, most important of which the Saudi Green Initiative and the Middle East Green Initiative.

The National Center for Measuring the Performance of Public Institutions “Adaa” is tasked with monitoring and following up on those indicators that highlight the Kingdom’s progress at the world level, and enable decision-makers to develop performance and global competitiveness, through international performance platforms, which enable public agencies to follow up on the Kingdom’s performance as opposed to the performance of more than 217 countries in more than 700 global measurement indicators.

Falcon deals in Saudi Arabia set records and pave way for upcoming auctions

Riyadh, Falconry in Saudi Arabia is a longstanding tradition that reflects a passion for this hobby, which accompanied the ancestors in their traveling across deserts and it continued to be a traditional hobby for Saudis inherited generation after generation.

Last October, the Saudi Falcons Club organized an auction, the first of its kind, for locally offered falcons, and witnessed an exceptional excitement and competition for the acquisition of falcons, where a world record was set when a Shaheen chick with rare and unique characteristics was sold for SR 650,000, in an unprecedented deal, becoming the most expensive Falcon in the world.

The auction also witnessed a number of records including the sale of a large number of falcons under one roof in a short period of time, where 102 falcons sold in twenty auction nights and received a wide turnout from falconers who flocked to the club’s headquarters, north of Riyadh. The total auction deals exceeded the SR10 million barrier.

The Kingdom is one of 11 countries included in the UNESCO list of countries that keep falcons and is home to different species, and a corridor for other migratory ones. Estimates indicate that about 20,000 falcons overfly the sky of the Kingdom, and their sales on the ground amount to millions of riyals, supported by the King Abdulaziz Annual Festival for Falconry, the largest of its kind in the world, which brings together falconers.

These figures make the Kingdom a global center and home to falcons and falconers, who have practiced their hobby for centuries documented by archaeological inscriptions, in addition that the residents of the Arabian Peninsula domesticated falcons for a very long time compared to other civilizations, nearly 9,000 years BC.

Falcon sales and auctions, which are organized and supervised by the Saudi Falcon Club, constitute a platform for amateurs who make use of it in opening new horizons for sale deals, investment, support for the national economy, and work to reduce black markets and falcon smuggling, in addition to supporting the hobby as a long-standing, renewed legacy.

The achievements and records brought about in the Falcons Club auctions call for continued coordination, preparation for launching upcoming auctions, especially as life has started to gradually return back to normal after the repercussions of the Corona pandemic, which would facilitate the process of movement to visit these events and attract visitors to auctions from regional and international countries thus enhance the Kingdom’s pioneering role and position on the map of the world of falcons.

On World Environment Day, Saudi Falcons Club (SFC) serves as an inspiration by reintroducing birds to their natural habitats.

Riyadh, In connection with the United Nations-sponsored World Environment Day, which falls on Saturday, 5th of June, Saudi Falcons Club (SFC) highlighted its efforts to protect the environment and maintain its balance.

The World Environment Day theme for this year is consistent with the club’s agenda, as it came today under the theme “Reimagine, Recreate, Restore.” In line with the club’s “Hadad” program’s objectives of reintroducing endemic and migratory falcons to their natural habitats and restoring ecological balance. Additionally, taking care of wildlife.

HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the Interior and Chairman of Saudi Falcons Club’s Board of Directors, gives generous and special care attention to “Hadad” program, the first initiative of its type is to organize the falconry hunting pastime, conserve its breeds, and reintroduce them to their habitats. The program is structured in a particular way, so that entails collecting participating falcons and releasing them within Saudi Arabia in the first stage, releasing another group of birds outside the Kingdom in the second stage, and monitoring them to determine the success of resettlement, the reproduction and chick production, as well as training them to be self-sufficient in the wild and hunt prey without assistance.

Saudi Arabia, Italy, Indonesia, Columbia Organize UN Event, under the motto ” Leadership in Anti-Corruption, G20, its Objectives, Achievements”

New York, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Permanent Mission to the UN, in collaboration with Italian, Indonesian, Columbian counterparts, in addition to the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, have organized an event under the motto ” Leadership in Anti-Corruption, G20, its Objectives and Achievements”.

The event has taken place here on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly’s 2-day extraordinary session on anti-corruption.

The event addressed the importance of launching the Riyadh Initiative, which frames an agenda emanating from the 20 countries for the whole world to combat corruption and implement integrity and transparency by establishing a global network for exchanging information between anti-corruption agencies around the world.

The event was attended by Vice President of Saudi Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, Dr. Nasser Aba Al-Khail, and the Head of the Legal Committee at the Kingdom’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations, Adviser Nidaa Abu Ali.

Syrians abroad: Success of presidential election entitlement victory of Will of Syrian people

Capitals, Syrian expatriates in Sweden extended their congratulations over the success of presidential election and the winning of Dr. Bashar al-Assad to the post of the President, voicing their loyalty to their homeland.

A joint statement by 15 expatriate activities including representatives and members of social and cultural clubs, the Syrians in Sweden said the results of the election affirm that the Syrian people chose “Syria, the future, the strong which is capable of restoring its rights.”

The events described the elections as great historical moments despite of the terrorist war that the country has been exposed to during the past years.

In turn, the Central Committee of the Belarusian Communist Party expressed its congratulations over the completion of the presidential election and the winning of Dr. Bashar al-Assad.

The committee, pointed out that the result of these elections embodies the Syrian people rejection of foreign interference in their internal affairs and constitutes a victory for their choices and their will to adhere to their independent decision and the sovereignty of their country.

It stressed that the results of the voting in the elections showed indisputably the Syrian citizens’ confidence in the approach of leadership of President al-Assad, which aims to protect Syria from foreign interference in its internal affairs, as well as to realize stability in the country.

The committee expressed the Belarusian Communist Party’s desire to strengthen and continue the Belarusian-Syrian friendly relations for the interests of the peoples of the two countries.

Meanwhile, the Muslim Unity Council of Pakistan considered that the Syrian presidential elections constituted a victory for peace and Syrian national sovereignty over the terrorist war imposed on the Syrian people.

The party expressed its confidence in President al-Assad ability to revive Syria and rebuild what was destroyed by the forces of black terrorism and aggression.

The party pointed out that the Syrian people proved once again through their wide participation in the presidential elections that despite all circumstances and adversities, they can achieve their will and can outline their future without any external interference.

Abkhazia to develop cooperation with Syria

Moscow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Abkhazia, Kristina Ozgan, said that her country has willingness to develop cooperation with Syria in the field of tourism, agriculture, transportation, as well as the humanitarian field.

In a statement on the sidelines of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Ozgan talked about the process of developed relations between Syria and Abkhazia.

“Syria recognized the Republic of Abkhazia on May 29, 2018, and established diplomatic relations with it, and in the same year, Presidents of both countries signed an agreement of friendship and cooperation,” Ozgan said, adding that the two sides signed main documents outlining their cooperation.

She went on saying that within the framework of the last visit from May 16th to 20th by an Abkhaz delegation headed by President Aslan Bzhania to Syria, agreements for cooperation in the field of tourism and transport were signed.

“Damascus hosted the first meeting of the Abkhaz-Syrian Joint Committee for Economic, Commercial, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation,” Ozgan added.

أصدرت سالي ستوري أول كتاب لها بعنوان “الإضاءة: وصفات وأفكار من قبل الكدريل. كتاب مساعدة ذاتية لمساعدة الناس على فهم تأثير الإضاءة المعمارية على المنزل.

2006

أصدرت سالي ستوري كتابها الثاني بعنوان “الإضاءة عن طريق التصميم”، وهو كتاب تطلعي مع صور مذهلة بتكليف خاص من لوك وايت.

كما شهد عام 2006 بداية ثورة LED عندما تطور LED بما فيه الكفاية ليكون مناسبا للاستخدام في المنزل. تم إطلاق أول ضوء LED لدينا، “LED Polespring”، نسخة LED منخفضة الطاقة بقدرة 8 واط من 50 واط الأيقونية للإضاءة النازلة.

وأعقب ذلك بسرعة الضوء العلويLucca 1W “Cool totouch”، ليحل محل Columini الأكثر سخونة.

2008

أصدرت سالي ستوري كتابها الثالث بعنوان “الإضاءة المثالية” بينما تمت مضاعفة مساحة المستودع لاستيعاب نمو الشركة.

2011

تم إدخال تركيبات إضاءة الحديقة LED الأولى، وضوء كشاف Kew وضوء Hampton الغامر في النطاق. بقدرة 1 وات فقط لكل منهما، مما يشير إلى إمكانية إضاءة حديقة صغيرة بقدرة 60 وات، أي أقل من مصباح الإضاءة التقليدي!

كما فاز جون كولين هذا العام بجائزة أفضل مشروع إضاءة في الحفل الافتتاحي لتوزيع جوائز idFX Design عن تحويل حظيرة في ديفون.

2012

انتقلت الشركة إلى قاعة عرض أمامية مزدوجة مع استوديو تصميم الطابق السفلي على طول طريق الملوك في لندن. وهنا تشكلت “دار جون كولين” وأصبحت مركز إلهام لأفكار الإضاءة. وشمل ذلك أول “حجرة إضاءة” فريدة من نوعها لجون كولين، وهي مساحة بيضاء بالكامل يظهر فيها تأثير الإضاءة حقًا قوة الضوء وسحره.

2015

إضاءة حديقة عرض ماركوس بارنيت الحائز على جوائز في معرض تشلسي للزهور، تليها اثنين من الحدائق الفائزة بجائزة أخرى في تشيلسي لهاي جونغ هوانغ في عامي 2016 و2018.

احتفلت جون كولين بمرور 35 عاما بافتتاح مكتبها الجديد في الشرق الأوسط في دبي.

2018

بدأ السعي لتصغير المنتجات عندما تم تصغير نطاق ضوء النازل Polespring 50 أصغر ليتم انتاج النطاق 40. وقد اقترن ذلك بمجموعة إضاءة Vorsa الجديدة متعددة الاستخدامات مع أكثر من 200 نوع مختلف للاختيار من بينها.

استمرار تطور الضوء النازل مع نطاق أصغر من 30. يتمتع التصميم الجديد بجميع الوظائف والقدرة على التكيف المتوقعة من نطاق 50 و40 ولكن في ضوء نازل مصغر جديد.

2020

أنشأ فريق دبي “البيت البريطاني للتصميم” مع صالة العرض الجديدة المؤثثة من قبل العلامات التجارية الفاخرة الأخرى في المملكة المتحدة.

‫بناء GWM لبيئة صناعة الهيدروجين يُعزِّز ثورة الطاقة الجديدة

‫شبكة تلفزيون الصين الدولية (CGTN): التعليم – عامل رئيسي وراء حملة الصين لمكافحة الفساد

بكين، 4 حزيران/يونيو، 2021 / PRNewswire / — حققت الصين إنجازات ملحوظة في مكافحة الفساد منذ المؤتمر الوطني الثامن عشر للحزب الشيوعي الصيني في العام 2012.  وقد تم اتخاذ سلسلة من الإجراءات لضمان أن المسؤولين “لا يجرؤون على أن يكونوا، ولا يستطيعون، ولا يريدون أن يكونوا فاسدين.”

وإلى جانب معاقبة المسؤولين الفاسدين وبناء أنظمة لمنع الفساد، ركزت الصين بشكل خاص على دور التعليم في حملتها لمكافحة الفساد.

“لكي نحكم الحزب بشكل شامل بالانضباط الصارم، يجب ألا نركز فقط على توحيد العقوبة، ولكن أيضًا علينا الحفاظ بشكل صارم على أساس الانضباط”، كما قال شي جنبينغ، الأمين العام للجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي الصيني، في الجلسة الافتتاحية الكاملة السادسة للجلسة الثامنة عشرة للجنة المركزية لفحص الانضباط بالحزب الشيوعي الصيني في كانون الثاني/يناير 2016.

وأضاف شي “الأهم من ذلك، نحن بحاجة إلى توجيه الناس للقيام بعمل أفضل وإفساح المجال كاملا للدور التوجيهي للمثل والمعتقدات والأخلاق”.

الطموح الأصلي

لمساعدة مسؤولي الحزب الشيوعي الصيني على التغلب على أنفسهم وجعلهم “لا يريدون أن يكونوا فاسدين”، حثتهم قيادة الحزب مرارًا وتكرارًا على الالتزام بالطموحات الأصلية للحزب الشيوعي الصيني ومهمته التأسيسية – أي السعي لتحقيق السعادة للشعب الصيني وتجديد شباب الأمة الصينية.

في حزيران/يونيو 2019، تم إطلاق حملة تعليمية على مستوى البلاد تحت شعار “الالتزام بمهمتنا التأسيسية” لتعزيز الرسالة بين أعضاء الحزب الشيوعي الصيني البالغ عددهم 90 مليونًا.

وأكد أليساندرو تيكسيرا، الاقتصادي البرازيلي وأستاذ السياسة العامة في جامعة تسينغهوا، على أهمية التعليم في مكافحة الفساد في مقابلة حديثة مع  سي جي تي أن.

وقال تيكسيرا إن العقاب والردع لا يكفيان لمنع الفساد.  وأضاف “أعتقد أنك بحاجة إلى عملية تعليمية في ذلك.  أنت بحاجة إلى تثقيف المجتمع.”

واضاف “اعتقد ان هذا ايضا ما يحاول الصينيون القيام به، القيام بالتعليم الاخلاقي، ليس فقط لمسؤولي الحزب، ولكن لجميع الناس”.

تعزيز الوعي العام

منذ المؤتمر الوطني الثامن عشر للحزب الشيوعي الصيني، شددت قيادة الحزب على عدد من المفاهيم المعروفة المتعلقة بمكافحة الفساد، مما يشير إلى عزم القيادة على معالجة المشكلة عميقة الجذور وتعزيز الإجماع الاجتماعي ضد الفساد.

وقال شي، مقتبسا مقولة صينية شعبية لشرح أهمية بناء الحزب، عندما التقى بالصحافة في 15 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2012 بعد انتخابه أمينًا عامًا للجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي الصيني: “يتطلب الأمر حدادًا جيدًا لصنع الحديد الجيد.”   هذا يعني أنه فقط من خلال التصرف بشرف يمكن للمرء أن يتوقع من الآخرين أن يفعلوا الشيء نفسه.  أصبح هذا القول بعد ذلك شعارًا مبدعًا لحث مسؤولي الحزب على البقاء نظيفي اليد.

صيغة ثلاثية المحور

يعتبر التعليم جانبًا مهمًا من صيغة الصين ثلاثية الأبعاد لمعالجة الفساد، جنبًا إلى جنب مع العقوبة الصارمة وبناء نظام مكافحة الفساد.

وقال تقرير صادر عن أكبر هيئة لمكافحة الكسب غير المشروع في الصين، إنه في العام 2020، حققت أجهزة التفتيش والرقابة التأديبية في جميع أنحاء البلاد في حوالي 618 ألف قضية فساد، مما أدى إلى معاقبة 604 آلاف شخص.

كما تعمل الصين على تعزيز بناء النظام في مكافحة الفساد “لحصر ممارسة السلطة في قفص مؤسسي”.

تمثلت إحدى الخطوات الرئيسية في إصلاح نظام الإشراف الوطني، الذي شهد إنشاء لجان إشرافية على المستوى الوطني ومستوى المقاطعات والمدن والمحافظة.  هذه اللجان قادرة على الإشراف على كل من يعمل في القطاع العام ويمارس السلطة العامة، بما في ذلك أولئك الذين ليسوا أعضاء في الحزب الشيوعي الصيني وأولئك الذين لا يعملون في الحكومة.
