Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs received Steven Bondy, The United States of America Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The minister highlighted the Bahraini-US ties which continue to develop steadily.
She affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness on developing and supporting the partnership with the US to achieve common goals.
The meeting reviewed cooperation in the youth sector and ways to benefit from the two sides’ expertise to enhance the skills and train the youth to enable them to avail of the promising opportunities offered by the kingdom.
They also discussed the Kingdom’s participation in the International Visitor Leadership Programme (IVLP), given its positive outcomes on the Bahraini youth.
The Ambassador expressed his keenness to enhance cooperation between the two countries and stressed the importance of joint efforts in the youth sector in exchanging expertise and training opportunities between the two sides.
