Abbas Jabr Al-Alayawi, received in his office today, Sunday, the delegation of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) organization, which was headed by the organization’s resident representative in Iraq, Aoki Lootsma, and was accompanied by the head of the Governance and Economic Growth Department, Mohab Madani.
Al-Alayawi said that the relationship with international organizations, including the UNDP, is an important one, especially since the current conditions represented by climate changes require the expansion and development of cooperation in all fields for the purpose of finding appropriate solutions to this phenomenon.
Al-Alayawi also praised the projects implemented by the organization in a number of Iraqi governorates, such as Anbar and Nineveh, which were under the supervision of the Department of Forestry and Combating Desertification, which encourages the expansion of this cooperation in other governorates.

Al-Kut, A fire broke out in a women’s clothing store in Al-Jumaa area in Al-Aziziya district, north of Wasit, and the civil defense detachments were able to put out the flames.
