1,212 New Confirmed COVID-19 Cases, 1,510 Recoveries Reported in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, The Ministry of Health announced, in a statement here today, that 1,212 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 475,403, including 10,584 active cases.

Of these, there are 1,489 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.

It added that 14 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 7,691.

Meanwhile, as many as 1,510 cases have recovered, raising recoveries’ toll to 457,128.

As many as 268 patients with dysfunctional kidney benefited from its services, during the first quarter of the Year 2021.

It is noteworthy, that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, has been backing up and carrying out over 270 health projects in Yemen, worth more than $750 million.

Ministry of Health: Second Dose Timing Is Tied to Progress in Covering the Society

Riyadh, The Ministry of Health pointed out here today that the date for taking the second dose of the Coronavirus’ vaccine would be in accordance with the progress in covering the society as well as according to the priority categories and furthermore it is also tied to the availability of the vaccines.

The ministry reasserted that its commitment to give the second dose for the age category of 60+ is still going on.

On the other hand, the ministry announced an update statistics of the Coronavirus, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which included reporting 1,153 new confirmed infections against 1,145 recoveries, while the active cases rose to 11,045, including as many as 1,496 in critical conditions.

Total infections in the Kingdom rose to 473,112 against 454,404 recoveries. In terms of the fatalities, the toll stood at 7,663 as 13 new deaths were reported.

The Kingdom has conducted, too, as many as 77,831 lab tests related to the pandemic.

1,236 New Coronavirus Infections, Remarkable Rise in Active Cases in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, As many as 1,236 new Coronavirus infections against 1,050 were reported in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while the toll of active cases rose to 11,050, including 1,496 in critical conditions, the Ministry of Health announced.

The overall tally of infections stood at 471,959 against 453,359 recoveries, while fatalities rose to 7,650 as 15 new deaths were reported.

On the other hand, the ministry added that 89,695 lab tests were conducted.

Meanwhile, the ministry drew attention that it has detected a considerable rise in the last few days, in the active cases, urging all the public to be inoculated, in order to protect themselves against the infections and its implications, reasserting that the vaccines are safe and effective tools to get rid of the infectious diseases.

Riyadh, The Ministry of Health announced, in a statement here today, that 1,309 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 470,723, including 10,879 active cases.

Of these, there are 1,533 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.

It added that 14 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 7,635.

Meanwhile, as many as 1,022 cases have recovered, raising recoveries’ toll to 452,209.

KSrelief Delivers Health Aid to Namibia to Combat COVID-19

Windhoek, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has delivered health aid contains 23 ventilators, to the Republic of Namibia to combat the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Deputy Minister of Health and Social Services of Namibia Dr. Esther Muinjangue expressed the thanks of the Government of the Republic of Namibia to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for the valuable humanitarian aid provided to her country in all fields.

This comes within the framework of the support being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, to the brotherly and friendly countries to confront the repercussions of the Coronavirus and reduce its risks.

Riyadh, The Ministry of Health announced, in a statement here today, that 1,239 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 469,414, including 10,606 active cases.

Of these, there are 1,549 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.

It added that 15 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 7,621.

Meanwhile, as many as 932 cases have been recovered, raising recoveries’ toll to 451,187.

On the other hand, 90,874 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

KSrelief Concludes Medical Campaign against Blindness in Nigeria

Abuja, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Sunday concluded a voluntary medical campaign against blindness in Nigeria for 2021.

The medical team, during the campaign, examined 6,051 cases and performed 810 surgeries, in addition to issuing 3,875 prescriptions and distributing 1,566 eyeglasses, which benefited needy families and individuals who cannot afford treatment costs.

This campaign, offered by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, aimed at treating ophthalmology patients and offering them necessary medical care in some underprivileged countries under an agreement the center had signed with Al-Basar International Foundation.

KSrelief’s Medical Team Examines 3,500 Eye Patients in Pakistan

Islamabad, The voluntary medical team of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has examined 3,500 eye patients and performed 300 eye surgeries, benefitting 4,000 individuals.

This comes as a part of KSrelief’s project to combat blindness and its causes in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, benefiting families and individuals of limited income.

The project comes within humanitarian projects being implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, to improve the living and health conditions of needy people around the world.

Riyadh, The Ministry of Health announced, in a statement here today, that 1,109 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 466,906, including 10,075 active cases.

Of these, there are 1,596 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.

It added that 18 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 7,590.

Meanwhile, as many as 1,148 cases have recovered, raising recoveries’ toll to 449,241.

On the other hand, 83,368 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Health Ministry Spokesman: 1,017 New Confirmed COVID-19 Cases, 1,133 Recoveries Reported, in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, Official Spokesman of the Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali said, in a press conference, that 1,017 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 465,797 confirmed cases, including 10,132 active cases receiving necessary medical care. Of these, there are 1,575 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.

Dr. Al-Abdulaali added that 1,133 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total recoveries to 448,093 cases. Also, 19 new deaths have been reported, bringing the total deaths to 7,572.

The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses that have been administered is approaching 15,723,493 doses, Dr. Al-Abdulaali said.
