Health Ministry Reports 1,330 New Confirmed COVID-19 Cases, in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, The Ministry of Health announced, in a statement here today, that 1,330 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 437,569, including 8,629 active cases undergoing treatment.

Of these, there are 1,365 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable, said the statement.

It added that 13 new deaths have been reported, putting the tally of fatalities at 7,214.

Meanwhile, as many as 1,055 cases have recovered, raising recoveries’ toll to 421,726 according to the statement.

On the other hand, 93,896 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, official statistics reported.

KSrelief Signs Agreement to Prepare Educational Laboratories at University of Aden’s Medicine Faculty

Riyadh, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed an agreement to prepare educational laboratories at the University of Aden’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences to benefit 2,315 individuals. The agreement was signed by KSrelief’s Assistant General Supervisor for Operations and Programs Ahmed bin Ali Al-Beez.

The agreement aims at contributing to improving the quality of educational programs for health laboratories at the University of Aden’s Faculty of Medicine through preparing the educational building of the laboratory department and the anatomical museum department, and providing them with basic educational supplies, such as student desks, educational devices, computers and fire extinguishers, in addition to providing 165 modern educational tools for more than 2,000 beneficiaries of students and faculty members to support their educational journeys and training while studying and continuous development.

The agreement guarantees increasing the scientific, vocational and skills efficiency of students at medical and clinical specializations before embarking on practicing their jobs, supporting the continuity of educational journeys for students who joined the bachelor’s, master’s and PhD degrees at health faculties and faculty members at the university within an appropriate and attractive educational environment, and raising the quality level of educational programs offered at the faculty and medical sciences at the university while ensuring the highest safety and security standards.

This agreement comes as part of the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to overcome difficulties facing the educational process at public educational institutions in Yemen.

Health Ministry Reports 1,213 New Confirmed COVID-19 Cases, in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, The Ministry of Health announced, in a statement here today, that 1,213 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 436,239, including 8,367 active cases undergoing treatment.

Of these, there are 1,372 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.

It added that 13 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 7,201.

Meanwhile, as many as 910 cases have recovered, raising recoveries’ toll to 420,671.

On the other hand, 88,859 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Health Ministry Reports 1047 New Confirmed Covid-19 Cases, in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, The Ministry of Health announced, in a statement here today, that 1,047 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) have been reported, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 435,027, including 8,078 active cases undergoing treatment.

Of these, there are 1,384 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.

It added that 14 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 7,188.

Meanwhile, as many as 847 cases have recovered, raising recoveries’ toll to 419,761.

On the other hand, 73,933 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Ministry of Health Announces: 886 Confirmed Coronavirus Cases Detected, Recommends to Continue Applying Precautionary Measures Following Inoculation

Riyadh, The Ministry of Health annonced here today new Coronavirus latest developments statistics in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the last 24-hour, including detecting 886 new confirmed Coronavirus cases, 1,127 recoveries against 7,892 active cases, with only 1,377 in critical conditions.

The ministry recommended to continue applying precautionary measures following the inoculation, such as putting on the mask and keeping the distancing, drawing attention that the vaccination greatly helps in decreasing the infection, however its does not prevent the infection, especially that the pandemic is still existing.

Infections’ overall number in the Kingdom stood at 433,980 cases, while the recoveries rose to 418,914, however the death tally stood at 7,174 as 12 new deaths were reported.

On the other hand, the Kingdom conducted as many as 61,665 lab tests.

Health Spokesman: Epidemic Curve Taking Downward Trend, Coupling with Continued Uptake of Inoculation, Adherence to Preventive Measures

Riyadh, The Official Spokesman of the Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulali pointed out that the curve of confirmed cases in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is passing through a stage of constancy and that the trend of the epidemic curve is in downturn, coupling with the continuous up taking of vaccines and adherence to preventive measures, reaffirming the ongoing follow up for the critical cases of the Coronavirus infections and stressing the importance of abidance by the fixed numbers in meetings and other functions.

He elaborated that the ministry is continuing applying precautions until the end of the pandemic, indicating that the stable condition is returning, grace to Allah, following the up taking of inoculation and committing to protective precautions and calling the travelers to know the health condition of their destination countries.

There are 1,376 critical cases against a total number of 417,787 recoveries, he stated, as 1,028 new recoveries was added against 7,162 fatalities as new 15 deaths were added.

The labs and centers across the Kingdom conducted about 9,950,328 swabs.

Tunisia Records 457 Cases of Coronavirus

Tunis, Tunisia recorded 457 new cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid 19) in the past 24 hours, along with 34 deaths.

Tunisian Ministry of Health stated in a statement today, that the total number of deaths reached 11,727, while the total number of infections reached 325,280.

Russia reports over 8,300 COVID-19 cases in the past day

MOSCOW, Russia confirmed 8,380 COVID-19 cases over the past day, bringing the total caseload to 4,913,439, the anti-coronavirus crisis center told reporters on Thursday.

Some 2,787 COVID-19 cases were confirmed over the past day in Moscow.

Currently, 270,838 people are undergoing treatment in Russia.

Russia’s coronavirus recoveries grew by 9,349 in the past 24 hours reaching 4,527,878, the anti-coronavirus crisis center said.

According to the crisis center, recoveries have risen to 92.2 percent of the total number of infected people.

Russia recorded 392 coronavirus deaths in the past 24 hours, up from 355 the day before. The total death toll has reached 114,723.

UAE Announces 1,512 new COVID-19 Cases, 1,474 Recoveries, 4 Deaths in Last 24 Hours

ABU DHABI, The Ministry of Health and Prevention announced 1,512 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the United Arab Emirates to 542,158, WAM reported.

In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry announced four deaths due to COVID-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 1,623.

The Ministry noted that an additional 1,474 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 522,356.

Riyadh, The Ministry of Health announced today in a statement that 986 new confirmed cases of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 427,370, including 9,469 active cases.

Of these, there are 1,341 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable, the statement said.

It added that 13 new deaths have been reported, putting the tally of fatalities at 7,085.

Meanwhile, as many as 1,076 cases have recovered, raising recoveries’ toll to 410,816.

On the other hand, 70,822 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
