General Directorate of Passports continued finalizing departure procedures for the nationals of brotherly and friendly countries evacuated from Sudan to their home countries, via the Kingdom’s various ports in Jeddah.
This comes within the framework of the crisis management plan prepared by Jawazat for such situations and implemented by establishing an operations room to address the cases of nationals of brotherly and friendly countries in coordination with the representatives of their respective countries.
Under the plan, Jawazat supports its platforms with human and technical resources to speed up entry procedures during evacuations and allocates platforms to serve the elderly, children, and people with special needs as an extension of the humanitarian services provided by the Saudi Government in evacuation operations from Sudan
