Head of the Antir-Terrorism Service to the Commander of the NATO Mission: The Service changed the rules of the game in defeating terrorism

Baghdad The Head of the Anti-Terrorism Service, General Abdul-Wahab Al-Saadi, confirmed: “The Service has changed the rules of the game in the war with ISIS, after it introduced special and innovative tactics.”

During his meeting with the Commander of the NATO mission in Iraq, Lieutenant-General Giovanni Iannucci, Al-Saadi stressed the need to cooperate with the armies and advanced special operations teams to exchange experiences and information in aspects related to combating terrorism and curbing extremist ideology.

He reviewed, according to a statement by the Service, the most prominent qualitative operations carried out by the Service in the last two years and the awards obtained by the Iraqi Special Operations fighters through their participation in the International Warrior Championship and the “Eager Lion” exercise, which was admired by the participating teams, which confirmed through an official document that the Service is the best team that might take part in this exercise.”

The two sides discussed the possibility of establishing a special naval force affiliated to the Anti-terrorist apparatus specialized in carrying out qualitative operations and based on physical and mental preparation, and its development would be according to modern and sound foundations that keep pace with the development taking place at the level of the armies of the world.
