Baghdad, The head of the Turkmen bloc, Arshad Al-Salihi, stressed the need to restore the security and military balance between the components of the Iraqi people, especially in the ranks of the Iraqi army, as it is a national institution for all Iraqis with all their religious and national affiliations without discrimination.
During his visit to the Turkmen Warriors Association on the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi army, he said that this matter is the legal and constitutional demand of the Turkmen component as a basic component in the country.
He added: The Turkmen military leaders, since the establishment of the Iraqi army, wrote the most wonderful national and combat epics, and the battle fronts witnessed them, such as the late Mustafa Ragheb Pasha, who took command of the Iraqi army in the Arab -Israeli war, and the late Major General Omar Ali Bayraktar in his command of one of the combat brigades in the war Palestine in 1948 in the Battle of Jenin.”
