Kirkuk The Rapporteur of the House of Representatives and the Vice-Chairman of the Turkmen bloc Gharib Askar al-Turkmani demanded that the slums law be re-drafted.
Al-Turkmani said, in a statement, “We represent the people and we will always be with them, and that the slums law must be reformulated again, and the current formula cannot be accepted without taking into account the situation of citizens with the exceptional situation that Iraq is going through in light of the delay in forming the government.”
He added, “We are against passing the law without finding alternatives that will comfort the citizen and lift the heavy burden from his shoulders.”
