Baghdad Iraq and Kuwait stressed the need to activate and revitalize the work of the joint committees because of their importance in advancing many aspects of cooperation and coordination.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Safiya Al-Suhail, received the new Kuwaiti Ambassador, Tariq Al-Faraj, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Baghdad, and welcomed him on the occasion of assuming his duties, wishing him success and further upgrading the level of distinguished relations that unite the two brotherly countries, stressing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ keenness to provide all means of support for the ambassador to succeed in his mission.
For his part, the Kuwaiti ambassador affirmed his quest to perpetuate the excellence of these relations and Kuwait’s keenness to expand the horizons of cooperation between the two countries.
According to the statement, the two sides stressed during the meeting the need to activate and revitalize the work of the joint committees because of their importance in advancing many aspects of cooperation and coordination.
