Jazan, Director of Relations and Media at the Interior Ministry’s Agency for Security Affairs Colonel Ahmed Al-Towayan, said that the security patrols in the Jazan region have successfully thwarted a smuggling attempt of 800 kilograms of narcotic khat in the possession of a citizen.
He noted that the culprit and the confiscated quantities were referred to the relevant authorities.
