KSrelief Concludes Anti-Blindness Campaign in Garoua, Cameroon, by Conducting 423 Surgeries

Yaoundé, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has concluded a voluntary medical campaign to combat blindness and the cause of its diseases in Garoua of the Republic of Cameroon, which was carried out from 18 to 23 June 2022, in cooperation with the World Sight Foundation.

During the campaign, the Center’s volunteer medical team examined 4,000 cases, conducted 423 surgeries, distributed 923 eyeglasses and provided 3,969 eye drops.

This comes within the framework of the efforts being undertaken by the Kingdom, represented by the Center, to treat families with low incomes in a number of fraternal and friendly countries around the world.
