KSrelief’s Masam Project Dismantles 739 Mines within a Week in Yemen

Aden, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project (Masam) for clearing in Yemen, dismantled, during the first week of October 2022, a total of 739 mines planted by the Houthi militia across Yemen, including four anti-personnel mines, 233 anti-tank mines, 476 unexploded ordnance and 26 explosive devices.

Since the beginning of the project, as many as 361,312 mines have been dismantled.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, seeks through the project to clear Yemeni lands of the mines that were randomly planted by the Houthi militia causing death and injury of innocent children, women, and the elderly.
