Baghdad, The US Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs, Celeste Wallander, announced that developments in the area of the Russian military operation in Ukraine may be decisive in the coming months.
“What happens in the coming months could be critical as we focus on providing Ukraine with the military equipment it needs to defend its people and its territory,” Wallander said at a hearing before the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
This comes hours after the former US President, Donald Trump, warned of the escalation of the crisis in Ukraine into a nuclear war against the background of the West sending tanks to Ukraine.
