Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani affirmed that the challenge before him is to gain the people’s trust.
He said in a televised statement: “We are working at an escalating pace to meet the needs of the people.”
He added: “The political forces are concerned about the political system and the extent of its acceptability before the people.
Al-Sudani affirmed that he is determined to carry out a Cabinet reshuffle and will choose the appropriate time, indicating that carrying out a ministerial change is one of his powers and he will not relinquish it.
Al-Sudani said in a televised interview: “I will go to parliament and ask for the dismissal of the negligent Minister, and whoever wants to refuse will be before the people.”
He added, “I spoke clearly with the political forces and informed them that the Minister’s assessment was “professional” and that there would be no targeting behind it.
