Riyadh– Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, who is also President of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation, has forwarded thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz for their unlimited support for the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation to achieve the goals of its activities, it was reported here today.
This came in Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal’s speech at the closing ceremony of the Islamic Solidarity Games 2021 held yesterday in the Turkish city of Konya in the attendance of the Head of the Saudi mission taking part in the event Prince Fahd bin Juluwe bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Turkish Minister of Youths and Sports Dr. Mohamed Muharram Kassab Oglu and a number of heads of national Olympic committees of Islamic countries.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal lauded the hosting of the government and people of the Republic of Turkiye, led by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Minister of Sports Dr. Mohamed Muharram and the city of Konya of this extraordinary version of the Islamic games.
He congratulated all winners of the Islamic medals, thanking the organizers for their good job.
In particular, the Saudi athletes taking part in the event have scored leading positions.
