BaghdadThe Yazidi MP Saeb Khidr confirmed that young people need job opportunities and not outdated laws.
He told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that society’s return to outdated laws will not create love for the homeland in light of the confusion between the past behavior and the current reality in the minds of some.
Khidr added that Iraqi youth do not need laws that restore past practices, but rather job opportunities that help them achieve their ambitions.
He explained that the return to laws that caused crises and problems for society will not address social, national or cultural issues as some imagine, but rather the opposite.
