Samarra lounge at Baghdad International Airport receives its first test flights since 1990

The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority supervised today, Friday, the reception of the first test flight for Samarra Terminal at Baghdad International Airport.

The Director-General of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority, Imad Al-Asadi, said in a statement that “Samarra terminal received its first flight coming from Damascus Airport with 150 passengers on board, indicating that there will be many flights coming to the country. “

He stressed that “Samarra lounge at Baghdad International Airport witnessed this evening the reception of its first flight since 1990 until now, which came as a result of the concerted efforts of all concerned and loyal people in serving the reality of aviation and travelers in our beloved Iraq.”
