The Central Bank is discussing cooperation frameworks with the Iraqi-British Business Council

Baghdad The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Mustafa Ghaleb Mukhif, discussed today, Monday, with the Head of the Iraqi-British Business Council, Baroness Emma Nicholson, cooperation frameworks.

The media office of the Central Bank said in a statement: “Mukhif received Nicholson, today, and during the meeting, they discussed frameworks for cooperation, training, developing banking cadres and building bilateral partnerships, to serve the banking and economic sector in Iraq.”

The statement added, “the Governor reviewed the development initiatives of the Central Bank of Iraq that contributed to develop the Iraqi economy, including active and vital sectors that addressed the requirements of Iraqi society.”

He added, “Nicholson welcomed the central bank’s steps at various levels, stressing its keenness to cooperate during the next stage.”
