The Deputy Chief of Staff of the PMF calls for documenting the biography of the victory leaders and their role in protecting Iraq

Baghdad, The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Yasser Hussein Al-Issawi, called for documenting the jihadist and heroic biography of the victory leaders in order to inform generations about it, stressing that the martyr leader Qassem Soleimani rose up in order to support the Iraqis.

Al-Issawi said in a speech he delivered during the memorial festival that was held in Al-Muthanna Governorate, that: researchers, writers, and historians should work on documenting the jihadist, heroic, and humane biography of the victory leaders and their comrades, given the physical sacrifices they made in order to liberate the land and protect the sanctities. Pointing that the martyr al-Muhandis’s Jihadist life began 40 years ago against the Baathist regime, leading to the fight against the criminal gangs of ISIS.

He added, “The martyr Qassem Soleimani was the first to help the Iraqis in their war against the terrorist ISIS,” noting that “the martyr Soleimani rose up to support the Iraqis and protect their honor from the ISIS, and he was the most prominent attendee in the plan to break the siege on Amerli.”

He pointed out, “Whoever gloats over the martyred leaders and their comrades is an accomplice to the murderer who carried out the treacherous assassination crime against the leaders of victory and their comrades.”
