Baghdad, The National Intelligence Service announced, today, Thursday, the arrest of one of those involved in currency smuggling, and seized 140,000 dollars in his possession.
It stated in a statement: “The detachments of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, specialized in following up financial crimes in Iraq, arrested one of those involved in smuggling foreign currency.”
It added: “140,000 US dollars were seized in the possession of the accused, who wanted to smuggle.”
