The Ministry of Immigration: We Have 25,000 Iraqis in Al-Hol Camp

Baghdad The Ministry of Immigration and Displacement announced that 25,000 Iraqis are in Al-Hol camp.

The Director General of the Branch Affairs Department at the Ministry of Immigration, Ali Jahakir, said in a televised statement: “We have returned more than 3,000 people from Al-Hol camp, and we will return a new batch soon,” explaining: ” Iraq finds it necessary to transfer Al-Hol residents to Al-Jada’a.”

He continued, “The media exaggeratedly dealt with al-Hol camp, and some of the camp’s families may not want to return.”

He added, “We have 11 camps for the displaced Iraqis in Syria, and there are 8,000 displaced Iraqis in this country.”
