The pace of commercial work escalated at a border crossing with Iran, east of Diyala

The border crossing east of Diyala witnessed an increase in trade and economic exchange.

A government source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the Sumar-Mandali border crossing with Iran, east of Diyala, witnessed the daily entry of more than 90 commercial trucks loaded with various goods, and this represents a record number in commercial and economic exchange.

He added that the escalating pace of commercial work at the Mandali crossing has positive repercussions in providing new job opportunities, especially in areas suffering from unemployment, pointing out that security stability on land roads is an important factor in attracting companies and merchants to clear their goods through the border crossings.
