Baghdad The President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received, at the Baghdad Palace, a Kurdish tribal delegation from the people of Kirkuk Governorate.
During the meeting, the President of the Republic stressed, according to a presidential statement, that the city of Kirkuk has a special importance, and it suffered from injustice, persecution and deprivation during the time of the former regime, stressing the need to improve the status of services and rehabilitate the infrastructure in order to meet the demands of the people of the city.
The meeting also discussed the reality of the city and the importance of starting vital projects and developing urban facilities.
While the members of the delegation reviewed the obstacles they face and the suffering of the people of Kirkuk.
