Baghdad The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, met today, Wednesday, in the Algerian capital, the Crown Prince of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein.
The Media Office of the Presidency of the Republic stated, “The Emir conveyed the greetings and wishes of King Abdullah II to the President of the Republic, success, and to the Iraqi people all the best and progress.”
The President of the Republic appreciated the fraternal greetings of the Jordanian monarch, stressing “Iraq’s keenness to strengthen the ties of brotherhood and cooperation between the two countries in a manner that secures the upgrading of bilateral relations in the service of the higher interests of the two brotherly peoples.”
