Baghdad The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received a cable of congratulations from the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, on the occasion of his assumption of the position of President of the Republic.
Al Maktoum said in the congratulatory cable: “I would like to extend to you my sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of your election as president of the brotherly Republic of Iraq, wishing you good health and happiness and the government and people of the brotherly Republic of Iraq further progress and prosperity.”
