Baghdad The US Ambassador to Baghdad, Elena Romanowski, welcomed the pledge of the person in charge of forming the government, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, to fight corruption and defend sovereignty and security.
She said in a tweet to her on Twitter: ” I welcome PM-designate

She affirmed the United States’ commitment to support and partner with the new government to advance these common goals.
