A security officer and a civilian were killed in two separate incidents in Diyala Governorate.
A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a security member of Khalis Anti-Crimes Office, north of Baquba, was killed when a speeding car penetrated a mobile security checkpoint on Baquba-Khalis road, north of Baquba .
The source added that a young man was killed by a thunderbolt in the village of Al-Qalaa on the outskirts of Al-Azeem, north of Baquba, in an accident that is the second of its kind during the past hours.
