Turkish (AFAD) announce that the number of earthquake victims has risen to 42,310

Istanbul, The Turkish Disaster Management Authority (AFAD) announced this afternoon that the number of victims of the earthquake that struck the south of the country on the sixth of this month has increased to 42,310 people.

The Disaster Management said in a statement that many roads and bridges in the state of Hatay in southern Turkey were damaged as a result of the earthquakes that hit them last night, and many buildings collapsed, especially in the city of Antakya, which required the closure of many damaged bridges and roads by the Turkish security forces.
