Turkish Defense announces the killing of five PKK militants in northern Iraq

Istanbul The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the killing of five militants of the “PKK” organization as part of the ongoing “Claw Lock” operation in northern Iraq.

The Turkish Defense said in a statement today, Monday, that one of the Turkish army units in charge of Operation Claw Lock monitored the movements of Kurdish militants in the Matina region of northern Iraq, and after an exchange of fire in which artillery was used, it managed to kill five PKK militants.
