The director of Altun Kubri district, Abdul Muttalib Najm Al-Din, announced that he had received preliminary information about the drowning of two children in the village of Hisar, 25 km northwest of Kirkuk, due to rain.
In a related context, it was announced that more than 50 mm of rain fell throughout Kirkuk.
