Yemeni Siamese Twins “Mawaddah and Rahmah” Arrive in Riyadh

Riyadh– In implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Yemeni Siamese twins “Mawaddah and Rahmah”, arrived in Riyadh today with their parents, coming from Aden Governorate, Yemen, via a medical air-evacuation plane, with support of the Forces of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Upon arrival, they were transferred to King Abdullah Specialist Hospital for Pediatrics, at the Ministry of the National Guard, to study their case and consider subjecting them to a separation surgery.

Advisor to the Royal Court, Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and Head of the Medical Team Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah extended sincere thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for this noble humanitarian initiative that comes in recognition of the difficult circumstances facing Yemen and embodies the superior medical capabilities of our country and a great humanitarian sense towards those affected in the afflicted countries, expressing his thanks to the Saudi Embassy in Yemen, and the Forces of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, which contributed in transporting the Yemeni siamese twins.

For his part, Hudhayfa bin Abdullah Noman, the father of the twins, thanked the government and people of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for the warm reception and hospitality he found since his arrival in the Kingdom, expressing his great confidence in the Saudi medical team, given their long experience in this field.
