Al-Qasabi Meets with Omani Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion

Riyadh– The Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, met at the National Competiveness Center, in Riyadh, today the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of the Sultanate of Oman, Qais bin Mohammed Al-Yousef and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, Al-Qasabi stressed the importance of strengthening trade and investment relations between the two countries in various fields in order to achieve the aspirations and directives of the leaders of the two countries, and to benefit from promising opportunities in light of the two countries’ future visions (Kingdom 2030, Oman 2040).

The meeting witnessed the participation of the Deputy Minister of Commerce and CEO of the Center, Dr. Iman bint Habbas Al-Mutairi. They reviewed the efforts of the Center as well as the experience of the Saudi commercial attachés and their role in promoting non-oil exports and attracting investments in international markets.

The Omani minister and his accompanying delegation were briefed on the work of the Saudi Center for Economic Business and the services it provides to the business sector to facilitate the exercise of economic activity.
