The MP of the State of Law Coalition, Muhammad Saadoun Al-Sayhoud, confirmed that Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani signed the largest strategic partnership agreement with France that Iraq had not witnessed since 2003.

Al-Sayhoud said in a press statement today that: French President Macron signed the strategic partnership agreement with Iraq for the first time at the Elysee Palace, which will benefit both parties, especially Iraq, which is in dire need of development and rehabilitation in various fields, including security, defense, education, health and the environment. transportation, energy, peaceful circulation, and democratization.”

He added that: Iraq today is very open to the world to employ relations to serve the people and the country, because Iraq today is in dire need of real actions to be translated on the ground, and that slogans and wishes may not serve the country that today needs to implement visions and invest material, economic and human resources to advance the country to reached an advanced and developed level in various fields.

Al-Sayhoud indicated that: activating the strategic agreements with China, Germany, France and the Arab and regional environment will contribute to the development of the infrastructure and superstructure of Iraq and will accelerate the process of construction, reconstruction and development
