Al-Sudani discusses with representatives of the French company Thales to secure Iraqi airspace from unauthorized flights

– Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani discussed, on Friday evening, with representatives of the French company Thales, securing Iraqi airspace from unauthorized flights.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement: “During the meeting, they discussed providing Iraq with specialized radars for high and low altitudes, in a way that secures the paths of civil and military aviation, at various altitudes, and securing Iraqi airspace from unauthorized flights.”

Al-Sudani also met with a delegation of representatives of the French company Dassault, where they discussed supplying Iraq with Rafale combat aircraft for the benefit of the Iraqi Air Force, and civil Falcon aircraft for the benefit of Iraqi civil aviation.

The Prime Minister met a delegation representing the Airbus company specialized in aviation industries, and the meeting dealt with discussing strengthening the Iraqi army aviation with combat and specialized helicopters, in order to raise the efficiency of our security forces in pursuing terrorist ISIS remnants and protecting the Iraqi borders.
