Baghdad The Advisor to the Prime Minister for Constitutional Affairs, Hassan Al-Yasiri, presented to the President of the Republic, Abd al-Latif Jamal Rashid, the draft of the Prime Minister, Muhammad al-Sudani, to amend the constitution.
The media office of the President of the Republic said in a statement: “President Rashid received the Prime Minister’s advisor for constitutional affairs, Hassan al-Yasiri, and during the meeting, al-Yasiri presented the prime minister’s draft to amend the constitution to the president in order to coordinate and cooperate with the two presidencies to adopt the project.”
It added that “coordination will take place later with other authorities.”
