Jeddah, Sep. 13, 2022, SPA — The Aviation Investigations Office in Jeddah hosted the second meeting of the Committee for Cooperation in the Field of Aviation Accidents Investigations in the Middle East and North Africa, organized by the ICAO Regional Office and the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, and will last for two days.
Attracting representatives of 14 Middle Eastern and North African countries, the meeting aims to agree on cooperation mechanisms between members and take advantage of capabilities and expertise to enhance capabilities in the field of aviation accident investigation, which contributes to enhancing the level of aviation safety.
The Aviation Investigation Bureau is the only authorized body in the Kingdom to investigate aviation accidents and incidents, with Saudi expertise and competencies and advanced engineering laboratories to analyze aircraft records.
