KSrelief continues implementing water supply and environmental sanitation project in Yemen

Hajjah, Yemen— King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued implementing the water supply and environmental sanitation project in the districts of Midi, Haradh, Hiran and Abs in Hajjah governorate, and Al-Azhor camp in Razih directorate, Saada governorate, Yemen.

The project, during the period from 24 to 30 August 2022 in Hajjah Governorate, pumped 744,000 liters of usable water, and 73,000 liters of potable water, in addition to 40 waste disposal activities at the camps of displaced people. The center also distributed 178 personal hygiene bags, 67 emergency toilet hygiene kits, and 178 containers for transporting water. In Saada, a total of 100,000 liters of potable water, and 40,000 liters of usable water were pumped, as well as distributing 60 emergency toilet hygiene kits, benefiting 44,757 people.
