The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, discussed with the Foreign Minister of the United Kingdom James Cleverly, this evening, Friday, in a phone call, the consolidation of friendship between the region and the United Kingdom.
A statement stated; At the outset of the phone call, the Prime Minister congratulated the United Kingdom’s Foreign Minister on assuming his new job, and wished him success in his duties.
The two sides also stressed the importance of consolidating friendship and close relations between the Kurdistan Region and the United Kingdom.
The UK Foreign Secretary expressed his condolences and solidarity with the innocent victims who lost their lives in the recent attacks on the Kurdistan Region.
The two sides also agreed to continue their relations and coordination, according to the statement
